Web Studio is the new name of Webs800, a web design business that has been serving Mauritian companies for years. The rebrand reflects how we work today: AI-assisted, speed-obsessed, and built for SEO from the first line of HTML. Same hands, same standards — just a name and a process that match the work we deliver in 2026.

We’re registered in Mauritius (Web Studio Ltd.), based in Albion, and serve clients across the island — from boutique cafés in Grand Baie to corporate firms in Ebene. We meet, we listen, we deliver. No offshore handoffs, no language barriers, no surprise invoices.

Meet the founder

Kurt François — the developer behind every project.

I’m Kurt François, founder of Web Studio (formerly Webs800). I’ve been designing and developing websites for Mauritian businesses for years, and I personally handle every project from the first sketch to the final line of code.

My approach is simple: websites should be fast, easy to read on a phone, and visible on Google. Anything else is decoration. I write clean, semantic HTML by hand (with a healthy dose of AI assistance to speed things up), so the sites I deliver load in under a second and rank for the keywords that actually bring you customers.

When I’m not coding, I’m shooting photos for clients in my photography studio.
